ANTEADOTE
Boba is the fast-growing drink trend that originated in Taiwan's small tea shops during the 1980s. With its recent popularity, you can find then in almost any part of the Bay Area, with their punny cafe names, unique drink combinations, and welcoming area for friends to meet up. With my interest in boba, I decided to imagine how a boba shop would look and feel if I were to design one. Here, you will find the branding, logo, menu design, and interior mock up of the shop.
BRANDING

Tea originated from China as a medicinal drink as it was found to have healing properties. Since then, it became popularized as a recreational drink with one of the most common forms being boba tea. The name of the boba shop,"Anteadote," refers to healing properties of tea while also including a tea pun that is common between a lot of boba shops.
THE LOGO

LOGO EXPLORATION

With the brand name, I knew that I wanted to show that tea has healing properties in the logo. I didn't want it to look too medical since it is for a boba shop rather than a medical establishment. I decided to play with the idea of using a potion bottle as a way to show that tea can be used for healing and still have a whimsical nature. Here is the logo exploration where I played with incorporating tea and potions.
